Pitched, historical technology from stone – Netolice, archeopark
Granulite from Kobyli hora quarry.
Particular replica of the fortification system. This system was a part of the Premysl’s administrative castle from the period about 10th century.
Placing cca 4.5m high (cca 6.5m including the part in the ground) wooden palisade – using flat basement stones, multi-layer pitching and dry laid walls.
The pitching of the basement under log constructions (from 0.35 to 1m deep), filing of the chamber walls using stones and pitching of the whole gallery.
Dry laid paving in front of the gallery entrances and stone steps under the wooden stairway.
All work was designed and consulted with professional public and observed the historical technologies.
